Think again! 27 year-old Aaron Schock is now in the U.S. Senate.
When he was 19, Schock was elected to the Peoria, Ill. school board as a write-in candidate. Four years later, he became president of the school board.
In 2004, Schock won a seat in the Illinois General Assembly. In the U.S. House, he will be replacing Republican incumbent Ray LaHood, who is retiring.
