Rock for hunger invites you to be one of the 16 bands to audition for the chance to play at one of the biggest festivals in Orlando. Round one includes four qualifying shows that will take place at the Backbooth on July 12th and July 14th. There will be two finalist from each qualifying show and Rock for hunger has put together studio time to record one the bands songs for a compilation CD that will be sold at Rock For Hunger Fest 4. At the final round of the competition the four final bands will be battling for the opportunity to play on the main stage at Rock For Hunger Fest 4. We are looking for bands that not only love music, but also believe in finding a peaceful solution to homelessness, hunger, and poverty in our community. Through education for children in low income neighborhoods we strive to end the cycle of generational poverty. By providing linkages to employment, housing, and other services in the community we are going to end homelessness one person at a time through music and peace."
