Rock for Hunger Fest 3 set the tone for future Rock for Hunger
Festivals to come. This was the festival that RFHFest was
envisioned to be from the start. Whoever missed RFHFest 3, truly
missed out! The festival fused top talents from Hip-Hop, Rock,
Acoustic, Hard Rock, Reggae, Funk, Jam Band, Blues, R&B, and
even Beat Boxing. This year’s festival was absolutely amazing from
beginning to end. Many of attendees who came through the doors at
2pm, stuck around an enjoyed every minute of the festival from POB
warming up the crowd on the Whole Foods stage, to Kardinal
Offishall getting dangerous on the main stage.
From Rock for Hunger Fest 3 we can learn that people from all
difference cultural backgrounds and walks of life can come together
and make a difference. Our committee who organized the event, was
comprised of a great diverse group of individuals who came together
in harmony to create this amazing event. At RFHFest 3, we blended
ever musical style to showcase the many great hidden talents lying
within the Orlando Music Community. Through music, we proved that
all kinds of people can come together. At Rock for Hunger Fest 3 we
proved that “Music can Change the World, because Music can Change
People (Bono).” We would like to thank everyone who attended our
annual festival of brining the community together with music and
peace. Thanks for being part of the “Change we want to see in the
World (Ghandi).” We hope to see you on Monday night, and many more
RFH events!
I'd also like to say thanks to all of our 2008
sponsors.
